@Rachel and Jun "I'm going to see a man about a horse" and "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" or "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse". We really do have a bunch of horse idioms...

You know that feeling when you repeat a word too many times and it ends up feeling like the word doesn’t mean anything and is just gibberish? Yeah, that’s the word horse for me by the end of this video 😂

Actually sleeping with the fishes is tied to the Italian mafia where they used to place people in ropes tied tightly or place buckets on their feet filled with concrete and waited for it to dry then they'd dump them into the water usually rivers so that they would drowned. The act of sleeping with the fishes was something they came up with as a threat as well as an explanation for how someone was murdered. They also did this to hide the body but more specifically it's how someone was killed by the members of the mafia.

Expansions to literally every rural (once upon a time ago every wester state was hella rural) State down to the final five Oklahoma Arizona and New Mexico. It makes a hell of a lot of sense when you see movies or shows from 'MERICA too honestly, we love bringing out the big guns and having antagonist protagonists and like entire armies on horseback IMAO. This is coming from someone who kinda hates horses in real life; Horses are a pretty cool and a pretty big deal.
