Tsitsipas has a more traditional swing. It's consistent but doesn't allow him to hit those angles. His shots tend to lack angular winners. Rublev on the other hand has unconventional swings that hit the sweet spot nicely so he is able to produce a lot of power without the conventional longer swings. This is quite apparent in this match.

Why didn't Tsitsipas just take a medical time out? It seems strange to be limping for such a long time through a grand slam event.

Why is this video favorizing Tsitsipas? It's like 80% of higlight winners are his winners and Rublev washed him like a dish.

USOTC trying to make amends by putting out "extended" highlights after attracting lots of criticisms from their appalling high lights lasting 3 mins for the whole of the championship fortnight. Too late, your whole team should be sacked long ago.

the point of putting small highlights is to encourage new paid subscription to watch from whatever TV streaming services available, giving more value to them who are paying to watch or going there live. they prioritize that over youtube subscription. they dont care your opinion.

you guys are not very clever and missing the point. they mostly dont care, they put extended highlights now since it has no value to hold them back anymore. If they put whole game on stream on youtube then what is the point in going there on the event live? this is just min maxing experience gotten from the live audiences and those who actually pay and us, who are paying nothing to see these things. it is the right bussiness move.

Now they should publish full press conferences instead of cutting out the part in the player's native tongue and just leaving the English parts.

Rublev has the potential as another Russian tennis star after Medvedev. He could beat Krgios, it means he has super strong skills to handle difficult situations in the court.

Interesting bet. Nobody knows what will happen, but what Tsitsipas did in this match is important as he's trying to be stiff and more aggressive on the baseline. Also, he's became much more aggressive on the return of service. Actually he looked quite different from those loss he had before in this North America season. These could be critical, which might help him win some bigger tournaments, imo.

@Ken Kozawa Lol... all you haters are ridiculous. You think Tsitsipas said that to Medvedev without being provoked? All you saw in the vid was the end of the match. What you didn't see was Medvedev causing tensions and taunting Stef throughout their match. That's why Stef got frustrated towards the end and said what he did. Anyway... fawn over Medvedev all you want, he's 23 pushing 24. He also had a string of losses earlier on in the season and he bounced back. Stef just turned 21. He'll be fine.
