That's not the first time they've had to go on the road to win a super bowl. 2001 afc championship game at Heinz field.

They need to get creative & add in a Wildcat package with Jakoby Myers at QB.

@Videography by Tyson Small well putting lots of time into averaging 4 yards a play like taysom hill does is not effective. Also the only time they struggled is against a bills d which could well be top 5 also it's the pats in September please

They need some type of added wrinkle into the mix. New kicker isn't very good past 50 yards, running game stinks. Right now it's KC's Superbowl spot to loose. They got luck vs the Bills & probably shouldn't have won.

@Videography by Tyson Small originally I just thought this was a joke now I see you're serious and lol just no. So there's a long running thing in new England that they decided in like 05 they weren't letting anyone but Brady throw the ball and that stuck until the edleman amendola play in 14. They don't even trust stidham to throw the ball. Also this is the same thing as taysom hill yeah it's fun but it's actually really inefficient and as for making the defence prepare for it you have to put just as much time as an offense preparing it too. And after you sneak one bomb downfield the d expects it from then on as well as any other you're facing

It's what they need, could run about 5 plays per game with some run/pass option. It'd be a good way to sneak a down field bomb in.

So Brady had that much difficulties the first 4 games? Just last game. These guys are funny, he put up 30 points or more the first three games.

FlameWingMan Which is why no one views the wins of those teams as good indication for their success in the rest of the season.

stéphane A if you have a bad quarterback who can’t convert 3rd downs to 1st downs, you’re defense will be on the field more often. Allowing for Tom Brady to score more points than he would on a team with a good QB.

@stéphane A steelers defence is better now with Minkah... but before that secondary was still awful. Also he played an MLB in his First NFL game....

@Christopher Noel so hasn't the Cowboys, Rams, and Bills...you can't use that excuse because we've seen lesser opponents pull off an upset

@Christopher Noel Well Steelers was viewed as potential AFC north winners with Big Ben. And putting 30 points has nothing to do with the other team QB.

Ronnie Jackson I just saw parts of First Take and it's the first time Max is saying the same thing unlike Stephen A who said they will jot make it to the superbowl without him. (Insert eye roll)

@Timo Cruz the defense was good the last two years in scoring. This year's defense is #1/2 in all major categories

@Timo Cruz they did have a run game...michel ran for 60-70 yds but they added a new FB and he needs to gel with the OL more

Timo Cruz I think that’s more true for Harry Being he’s a rookie and WR is tough for new players in NE. Wynn is different he’s been in the meeting rooms and practicing for over a year, he knows the playbook and was playing great before the injury. They made it to a Super Bowl in 2017 and almost won with an injury ravaged team. They’re not close to that and with this defense they’re more than capable of beating the chiefs at home since they did it twice last year with a slightly worse defense

@FlameWingMan exactly.... they played the bills and they got after Tom.... that offences GRINDED to a halt. Even if he wasn't sacked. No run game, pass protection was breaking down and tom had to take incompletions (under 50% for the game). on the bright side this is the best Pats defence since 2016 sooo they'll be #1 in scoring defence. Which can cover a lot of deficiencies.

@jrad410 yeah its true, but im a big believer in continuity as well. I think Wynn and Harry being hurt now will affect chemistry and cohesion in December and January. Pats are one Edelman injury away from being totally out of SB contention imo. But i guess im a pats hater.
