even if it was to reach a hundred miles to the gallon it would still be beaten by Volkswagen, years ago they built a car that can do over 200 miles per gallon. And they actually put it in production. You can buy one

We need to realize that efficiency isn't just about MPG, that's only one of many aspects. There's cost, risk, cargo, abilities, time, grins, etc. For example to my mind easily the most efficient type of vehicle on the road is the modern semi truck. Sure 7 MPG, but that's hauling over 20 tons of cargo. Per pound of cargo it's massively efficient.

Casey's Viper could be considered quite efficient. It's older, he's had it a long time, and it hasn't cost him a lot, that all adds to efficiency. What's it's true use, smile's, girls, excitement, etc. I'm sure it's been really efficient at all that as well. It may get IDK 8 MPG but grins per dollar is probably hard to beat.

Unfortunately when you do the numbers for making transportation more efficient it turns into either of two things.

A bicycle or an electric train.

The Porsche 918 Spyder has actually an mpg of 94, wich is crazy for a 886hp hypercar that is heavy af..... But it only has this mpg in eco hybrid mode at 70mph I a straight line without an incline....

Steel cars are much better than plastic, easier to recycle, and reuse, cars today are running off of cars that were on the road 20-30 years ago. Well other than electric, now THAT doesnt last long

Fiat built a 1.3L diesel racecar years ago that got 113 mpg and did 126mph. It was boosted at ~60 psi.

Maybe someday we will know the technologies [they] have supressed. Zero point energy was invented over 100 years ago and yet we still use gasoline and have huge electric bills. Free energy frees the world. Couldnt let that happen now could we. The pure evil that really runs this world is overwhelming

I was watching a train one day and I realized that the diesel tanks just weren't big enough for their loads. This was in the 90s. And so, I asked my dad a question. (He worked as a mechanic for a railroad company.) I ask what was the fuel mileage a train engine loaded could achieve. Dad told me these engines get between 8 and 10 miles per gallon. My dad had been retired for many years yet I also had uncles who worked for the railroad also. They told be these engines now are getting roughly 14 miles per gallon.
With this information I decided to build an atomizer system for an old pickup I owned. So I built an atomizer and it worked. I kept this system tinkering with it from time to time and learning more. With the knowledge I obtained I developed many improvements. Alas my health stopped me from further developments. Yet I did make several upgrades in my mind.
Thus far, all the atomizer systems I have seen that others have built are all very crude. All those systems trade off performance for higher economy.
Here are some clues... Fuel pressure must be greater, gasoline must be heated (use the exhaust heat) and so the fuel must be injected... It must run on liquid gas until the exhaust can properly heat the fuel then the liquid gas has to stop, as the atomized fuel takes over... Automatically.

You wonder where we would be now if all racers were gentlemen instead of occasional pussies simply because someone showed up with a car consistently 2 seconds faster than yours....
