I’m mainly wondering if why water hurts them. My guess is that since they live in The End, where water doesn’t cannot exist, over time they’ve changed to where they are practically allergic to the stuff and shrivel away.

I'm late and I am sorry but this is more of a hypothesis but I'm wondering what you guys think: Could Steve be a reincarnation of one of the "prehistoric races"? Especially since the nightmares that we see when we go a long time without sleeping looks rather similar to the ender dragon. Could it be that Steve was a descendent of one of those prehistoric builders and could have gotten left behind in the fleeing from everything that was done? What do all of you think??

When I was a child, I thought the ender was an infection, the mites being the ones that infect, endermen being soldiers, and the dragon being the main give mind who is spreading it all.

But then how is the dragon's head on the end city ship if the ancient civilization never defeated the dragon?

I always thought of the enderman as a cousin species to humans like Neanderthals, maybe the humans were slaves under them, slaves rose up and made a gate that was 1 way and wile the humans had to fight them off and zombie plagues ect and failed in the end

You know, I believe that end cities were built by enderman while they were still enderman, and the blocks over time become end blocks, and the enfermen pick up blocks to add to their cities. They don’t pick up chests or items, but did when first making the cities, out of memories from their previous lives. Now they’ve lost those memories, and do things randomly
