- Justifying that Domino Art is a thing. Many people don't seem to understand the concept of domino toppling, so I hope this video can educate them more on this unique type of art form. Also, this is my first vlog/sketch type video so any constructive feedback would be great. Probably gonna look back on this video in a year and cringe so hard but hey, gotta start somewhere :) I'm excited to be trying something new.

The person I play in the sweatshirt is inspired by all the lovely hate comments lol (don't worry, they don't bother me but I felt inspired to clear things up and give an overview of Domino Art in general). Please don't be discouraged to start building dominoes after the scene at 1:34, because that is all staged for comedic purposes xD Also wow I sound really sassy in some of these parts but please note I'm probably the opposite of sassy in real life xD This is just what goes through my head when I get comments like that.
Here is our definition of Domino Art: "Domino Art is a form of creative self-expression in which dominoes are set up and knocked down to create appealing visual effects including patterns, artistic designs, images, text, structures, and other chain reactions."

Anyone else also appreciate the musical quality of dominoes? The change in cadence between fields, the regular pitch of a line, and the chaotic crescendo of a tower fall are additional pieces of the art in my opinion. While certainly the kinematics of color are the primary appeal, I find the auditory satisfying in tandem with the visual.

I've got about 400, and I find it hard to set them all up. I can imagine how hard 5000 dominoes would be to set up.
Domino-toppling is probably the only art form in the world where the express purpose of the artist is to destroy their creations.

I honestly respect you domino stackers SO MUCH now because of this stupid lab I did in physics that was supposed to demonstrate uniform motion. I was like "uniform motion? MORE LIKE HELL!" It kept knocking down for an entire hour and every group was beginning to lose hope until we barely did it right in the last five minutes. So essentially it took us over one hour to just set up one straight line of 100 dominos... I have no idea how you do stuff like this :P
