Writer-director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has crafted a Little Women that draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life. In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life on her own terms -- is both timeless and timely. Portraying Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth March, the film stars Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, with Timothée Chalamet as their neighbor Laurie, Laura Dern as Marmee, and Meryl Streep as Aunt March.

Smartness is important in marriage and in a relationship and I’m glad that cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone. I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with Cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and deleted messages from my phone without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I’m here in UK and able to access my husband’s phone messages with a link on my phone even while he was away in Canada cheating on me. I got to discover that my husband who is legally married to me here in UK is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all deleted and recent chats on his Whatsapp, Twitter,Facebook,Instagram messages and Skype. You can contact this great hacker “Gavin” via Gmail  (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and I hope you find peace with your heart after finding the truth.

I realize this is a snippet. However, they chose it for previews, so they must think it's representative of the best of this film, and what I say is Meryl Streep can't touch Lucille Watson or Edna May Oliver in this role. Here we see full throttle her studied (and in this case hackneyed) Aunt March. Btw, why we need another version of this film when we have the 1933 and 1949 versions, both fine, is beyond me.

The novel begins in the 1860's. If you want a "modern" version, start typing. Don't bother, they made one two years ago, it failed miserably.

All this movie proves is women cannot be independent. They all eventually marry. Even Jo with her feminism bs, I don't need to marry or have kids and then ended up doing it anyway.

@N .N just checked (it's been awhile since I read it. Looks like Aunt march is the aunt in law of the father, and her husband, the march father's uncle, has died.
"There was the garnet set which Aunt March wore when she came out, the pearls her father gave her on her wedding day, her lover's diamonds, the jet mourning rings and pins, the queer lockets, with portraits of dead friends and weeping willows made of hair inside, the baby bracelets her one little daughter had worn, Uncle March's big watch, with the red seal so many childish hands had played with, and in a box all by itself lay Aunt March's wedding ring, too small now for her fat finger, but put carefully away like the most precious jewel of them all."

she has a point you know, how many woman would chose marriage if they were rich, it is all lovely all that talk of romance and togetherness but considering how acrimonious marriages are and how much sacrifices you have to make first for husband then for children with little to no reward, honestly if you had the money that will set you free from choosing marriage many would rather be free. freedom does have a price tag.

Wynona will always be the quintessential Jo March for me since I grew up with her version but I'd like to add Mya Hawke's portrayal as being a very fine interpretation, as well. I was never a big fan of Saoirse's and from what I've seen of her Jo I don't think I'll be changing my mind.

Zarar Afridi One role ? Did you just hit your head in the pavement ?
Saoirse Ronan played an emotionally conflicted child who framed someone, a murdered teenager, a teenage assassin, an immigrant who was homesick, and a queen who wanted the crown she couldn’t have, etc. And in each of her role, she plays it differently.
How is that “only playing one role” ?
And for your information, these are the actresses who only act 1 or 2 style in every role (in other word, unoriginal and boring): Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Berrymore, Amanda Seyfried, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Connelly, Reese Witherspoon, etc.

@Will C This is why bad people get away with bad things. Because of people like them and you. You have no morals. No conscience. When you have the chance to do something right you choose not to and many people in the industry did not and instead of saving many victims chose to save themselves and not help anyone.

@Zarar Afridi What do you have against Saoirse? I've seen you commenting things like that in other videos she's in. She is an excellent actress and you obviously have too much free time.

@L You seem to forget that he held the film industry in a vice for decades and could destroy someone's livelihood and career like *that* if they spoke against him. Its unfortunate that it took that long to take him down but no one could do anything at his height of power. Life isn't the movies.

A traditional old hag who defines life for women by who they marry, yet hypocritically sees herself above that because she’s ric- Oh.
