Can you use venison instead of the wings?? That may sound like a strange question but I'm curious.

I make sure nobody else is in the house before I make any stock. Eating the leftover stuff afterward is the most disgusting thing I do.

Made this last year. (It was 🤤) After removing the solids, I pulled the meat off the bones and took it to my friends house as an early Christmas present for her puppers!

Can stock like this be frozen? And should I freeze it in those quart containers or is there a different, recommended way?

I eat that cooked meat cold with thinly sliced onions, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and celery salad. I do the same if it's red meat for the broth. My father used to call it "lesso"

tip to use up the meat: mince the meat and the vegetables really finely, make a thick bechamel and add it to the meat and veggies, throw in some herbs, salt and pepper, bread crumbs to thicken the mixture and finally some parmesan for flavor. form little balls then coat them in flour, egg and breadcrumbs. fry them until golden brown. serve with whatever sauce you want (i like a fresh tomato sauce). it also works with beef from beef stock or leftover roastbeef.
