    Many of you have been asking since the channel began for me to make a video that helps you fall asleep and stay asleep. Insomnia is a huge problem and I totally understand that. There are also a ton of how to fall asleep faster or how to stay asleep videos out there but I feel too many of them are not evidence-based nor even really expert based.

    These sleep routine tips and bedroom hacks, including swapping out synthetic for cotton sheets, will help you get the ZZZZZs you need to take on the day; and the best part is that the power to improve your sleep and beat your insomnia is right in your hands!

    Just so you know I can talk about sleep for hours so if there is a specific question of yours on sleep that has been left unanswered please jump into the comments section and I will do my best to respond right there or in my monthly responding to comments video!

          I really recommend bamboo sheets as an alternative to cotton. They're hypoallergenic and very cool to sleep on. They feel wonderful as well!

                You should do this. When you're tired and come home from work, 2 hours before bed do some push ups 3 sets and then relax the way you want with tea or whayever.

                              Beyond sleep hygiene! 
                              Points to note:

                              1. mattress topper - get this for softness,

                              2. no drinking water after 7 pm - to avoid getting up to the toilet,

                              3. take 5-HTP & Valerian - to get you to sleep easily,

                              4. take curcumin (turmeric)  - to calm pain/inflammation,  

                              5. take magnesium - for crams & muscle spasm.

                                  Insomnia paired with adrenal fatigue syndrome is so much FUN I wanna jump out of my skin. Yipee. Thanks for the protips. My one cat sleeps by my feet the other one has her own fusion and blanket above my own cushion so my feet technically hang of the bed and it s a queen sized.

                                      I think sleeping with pets depends on the pet and the person... whenever i have my dog sleep in my bed with me I actually sleep better but my step dads dog moves all the time and wakes up super early

                                              So my situations are that I live with an family. I sustain my health and maintain my exercises. However my brother having a weird sleep schedule. Changing up my sleep is difficult. Even sleeping with him working on its homework at night is difficult. Napping is okay unless if I knew how to do it anytime anywhere. Note Im a university student and a night owl (also early bird) considering Im creative. Another notes are that Im also have Concealed Depression.

                                                      Can u please make a video about sleeping postures that are healthy for different kinds of people experiencing pain at different places like neck,shoulders etc n which sleeping posture is good for different kinds of people. Also, what kind of pillows or mattresses to be used? There r different answers or myths associated with that, in this market driven world..Dont know,what to believe🙄 PLEASE HELP!!!

                                                            Caffeine has a half life of 6 hrs that means it never burns out completely ( in 12 hrs it will be 1/4 th in 18 hrs it will be 1/8 th in 24 hrs it will be 1/ 16 in 30 hrs it will be 1/32 th and so on ) but that is only for 1 st order reactions in chemistry

                                                                                          People I am a person with a very strict night time routine, I’m not a professional but here are some things that help...
                                                                                          1) Stop drinking any liquids an hour before your scheduled bedtime, so you don’t have to wake up again to go to the bathroom(a few sips is fine)
                                                                                          2)The latest time to turn all screens off is also an hour before your bedtime.
                                                                                          3)REMEMBER TO DO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN THE NIGHT BEFORE! Get your school or work bag ready, pick out your outfit for the next day and lay it out, and plan your breakfast too.
                                                                                          4) A good night’s sleep consists of 5-6 full sleep cycles, you may be falling asleep super early but still feel drowsy in the morning, maybe because you woke up at the beginning of your next sleep cycle, each cycle lasts around 90 minutes, you can calculate what time you go to bed with Sleep Calculator.
                                                                                          5) You can prep for bed by taking a warm shower so your body temperature can lower itself a bit better, or reading a book, and doing some yoga before you go to bed or something, do something that either makes you feel relaxed, tired, or preferably both.

                                                                                            I have started having Sleepytime tea & a few almonds, doing 10 minutes of relaxing yoga, then a warm bath a few hours before bed. I have also found writing in a journal, then mediation and/or relaxation techniques seem to slow my brain down. I have balance issues so need at least my night lights on, so I use a soft, cotton face mask. When I have my windows open sometimes traffic noises disturb me, so I use ear plugs. My cat is a very sound sleeper and is at the opposite end of king bed. He also has a very good food clock, so wakes me up pretty consistently around 6:00 am. These work better than pills & I have tried them all.
