Pixel means picture element and so when he contracts arc pixel to arxel, the only thing left from "picture" is the c sound in the X... But then arc also has that sound. Okay so picture is gone. Its just arc element.

I saw it black and white instantly, I'm a mild case of epilepsy. the contrast of black and white fools your eyes into normality whiles the coloured island before is classed as flash damage, giving the same result as looking into a light bulb and having the light bulb image hang around in the background when you look away and blink. because my condition the colours are wiped instantly. or should I say faster, the eyes are adjusted by the first light flash rather than the second or third.

So what allows you to see a ceiling fan stationary while in motion, moments after you blink?

A friend sent me this video and wondered how I would see this, because I have an eye condition called congenital motor nystagmus, however I have perfect vision, but I also see faster than the average person. To imagine how I see things picture an old movie where the camera goes over an old CRT monitor and they see it flashing for example in RoboCop one of the scenes in the police station. And when I grew up before LCD and LED TVs that's what I thought TVs and some lights just did that and I thought it was normal but I didn't understand why. And even today still some TVs and LED lights refresh rates are not fast enough for me. At this point I think I've figured out the refresh rate I need had to be above 45hz to 50hz. So I wonder how his invention would look to me if I saw it in person.

Unless I missed it, you didn't explain why the black-and-white version of the photo of the island appeared to be coloured.
Here's my hypothesis: you initially showed it in inverted colours (sky was brown etc.). You told us to look at one fixed spot for a long time. That meant the brown patch of the image was held stationary on one patch of the retina for a long time, so much so that the retina in that patch got tired out. Then you switched from the negative photo (brown sky etc.) to black-and-white. The patch of the retina that had had a long exposure to brown was now suddenly exposed to pale grey (the colour of the sky in the B&W version). Evidently that patch of the retina was "tired" of the brown, and when the patch was replaced by pale grey the retina was ready to react, or over-react, in some way.
Why it added colour and read it as blue, I can't work out.

False, the main reason is because you expect it to. You have two types of cells in your eyes, rods and cones, one for light intensity and one for color. The cells for color are all concentrated in the center of your field of vision as the details shown in color aren't as useful unless it's in the center of your focus. Your brain doesn't see that the colors are missing but sees the inversion and expects that the colors inverted to. I'm sure your explanation plays some small role, like holding your hand in a bucket of cold water and room temperature will feel warm after it adjusts, but it's that concentration of color cells that is the main cause.
