This video has gotten me All excited to try this. I've been looking for a hobby to escape my stressful life and this looks like it would be fun to try. Although, not sure if this is too advanced for a beginner?

What is in the bucket before you put the spray paint in? Is it water or something else?

Very beautiful. How many of those tumblers can you dip with that amount of spray paint you put in the bucket? Do you prefer this method over pouring paint over a spinning tumbler?

First attempt and it did not go great. My paint was globbing, drying as I was trying to add color. So part of cup looks great and part is lumpy and bumpy? Any ideas? Temperature?

I tend to have the best luck with colder water although I have heard others say that they prefer it warm. As far as clumping, as long as it's not too bad the epoxy will cover it. You might actually be surprised at how nice it will look.

Hey there! You may have answered this already but with so many comments, I couldn't find it... Do you remove the tape before the epoxy is dry like with the paint? Or leave that same tape on for both coats of epoxy? Basically... When do you take the final tape off? Lol. Love your tumblers! Love the tutorial. Thank you! ❤️

You mentioned that before you had the automatic rotator, you had to turn them every 5-10 minutes. For how long did you need to do this?

A long time usually for about 6-8 hours. However, as it got thicker and less drippy I would space it out more. Turning every 15 and then 30 minutes

It really depends on the cup and the coverage. With these I typically do one and then lay any vinyl and do another. You may have to do a 3rd but it's not always necessary.

Anyone who has a food scale would probably be able to use that as well. Thanks again beautiful work

YouTube suggested this video from my watching acrylic paint pours on canvas. This is tickling my creative ideas like crazy! I am preparing to sell at an arts and crafts show soon, and toying with this as potential items to sell. I would have to get the cups and a rotisserie, but otherwise I have the supplies and materials on hand...we have oh so many cans of spray paint with just a bit left. Anyway...thanks for the inspiration! I’m off to explore your channel and look for information on the rotisserie as well as how much these might sell for, since they seem to take quite a bit of time, certainly for all the curing steps. Eek! So excited by this idea!!!
