      So in a shop like yours, it would seem to me that there would be A LOT of little pieces of random steel that come off the edges of products. Do you ever save all those random pieces and try a use them in Cannister Damascus?

                                            Muriatic acid is commonly used to clean or remove excess mortar from stone work - hence readily available at places that sell masonry materials such as home stores.

                                            Barring aesthetics, small cracks in SS could be TIG fill welded, since this is only a utility cutlery set and not show pieces.

                                                                  Alec, This is exactly why i LOVE watching you! You show your mistakes and help everyone learn from you. Lots of other smiths on YT make a fancy production out of their videos, condensing a month of work into a 20 min video, with no mistakes and everything absolutely perfect... but you show what went wrong so other people can be better smiths from watching your stuff.

                                                                    Muriatic (hydrochloric) and sulfuric acid are pretty easy to get at hardware stores. The latter is sold for unclogging drains.

                                                                                    Hey Alec,
                                                                                    Aren't you will's superior and boss? Isn't he your employee? This is the third work accident in a short time. It is time that you take measures in your hand and improve the situation. Else you could get In trouble (at least in germany you would).
                                                                                    You should (on paper) explain all the rules and safety measures again and controll him how he is handling it. I know this sucks. But that is being a boss. Please make sure he stays alive and is stop hurting him.
                                                                                    And maybe you should get a proper treatment of the thumb. :D

                                                                                            If you do forge request can you make a knife that looks like an average kitchen knife except it doesn't curve it is just a semi triangle shape.

                                                                                              Hey Alec, I’m an IE and I love the new warehouse. For some extra lean with reducing footsteps, might also get some ergonomic floor padding, improves visual flow and physical strain for little cost, something to think about. Keep up the awesome work with all these great projects.

                                                                                                The last thing that would interest me is watching a few noobs doing it on YouTube, lol.
                                                                                                Crucial tip though; hire someone with experience doing it. Most of the issues I see in places I work stems from office or sales people thinking they know the best way to organize a warehouse
