Look how hard that looks in a 2d simulation, now add in the 3d elements... I mean, my God! We all think we are smart, but this is absolutely incredible how some people can figure this all out, on the ground. It's truly amazing to me.

Jesper Karlsson I feel I need to clarify myself instead of just deleting my post as some would do. I remember being shown the landing site through a group of enthusiests, 20 years ago. My own bias has clouded my judgement. They could of been lying to me for all I knew at the time, as when I just searched if you could see the landing site through a telescope, it came back as a solid NO. So, in terms, I'm as curious as you if it did happen. I would like to think it did as this would be such a monumental cover up, it just seems unfeasible. I will still believe we did land on the moon, unless one of the hundreds it took to make it happen show me credible proof, that it did not.

Lay you In ive got few ”telescopes” since im an astrophotographer. I can see the surface of the moon better and cleaner than i can see a text in a book. But i dont know If i belive the first landing still :)

Lay you In  4 weeks back

Jesper Karlsson We have been on the moon, so has China. China did it a few years ago and it was literally not a blip on our news. We did it almost 70 years ago. You can buy a telescope and see for yourself. It's very easy to look online for the coordinates and the right time to view where we landed. I have seen that video of how it was all faked, back in school. It's a video to create discussion and debate. Otherwise it is absolutely not to be taken seriously. Go grab a scope and see for yourself! If you cannot do that, then you are only willing to look at one side of a debate and refuse to see the other. That is called bias, and it is detrimental to understanding fact vs fiction, and debate in general.

I have been looking for what I think should be a simple question, but I can't find anything close: why doesn't the ISS have a rotating ring? I understand the importance of studying microgravity, but it is (from what I have seen) also considered essential to have gravity (or some facsimile), but we don't have any practical experience building a rotating ring in space.

has to be the best thing ive ever heard in my life. so how do you control this under intense speeds? well this guy can reach but this guy uses a stick. lmfao billions of tax dollars fund this hahahahaahahaha

@sickvidsful The spinning machine can actually be a bad thing ^^ It is a little different because in this case this is the centrifugal force that keeps pushing you toward the exterior of the circle.
In those test stand, pilots can wistand over 9 or 10g's !
In soyuz they only feel about 3g's if again I remember correctly. Unless there is an emergency.

Yeah that makes sense cuz you feel it till your at the steady speed but once your there it not as intense. I see now. I meant to put quotes around my first comment I was simply repeating what made me laugh. But yeah I never thought of that. So then that must mean that spinning machine they train in isn't that bad unless it's always just changing speeds then that's prob intense.

@sickvidsful You doesn't feel speed bu acceleration. Those guys takes at max 3g's if ai remenber correctly.
Imagine yourself moving at 130km/h on the freeway : you still can reach your wheel drive properly because you aren't accelerating anymore. You will feel something if you brake or accelerate

Doesnt docking on the leading edge of the orbiting station mean the station loses speed and changes trajectory during every undocking? I assume the soyuze or any cargo craft would be pushed away during undocking...that being said why wouldnt they dock I the rear gaining g a little push every undocking jetison?

Not really. Not at those speed. When they dock, they travel at only several cm/s from each other, negligible.
