I never knew there was so much to do and know about "tile" laying ( that's what she said!!!).... i thought you just put it in and that is it! thanks for educating us Mr Zack and letting all those nay sayers know that the water your letting loose isn't full of runoff its just extra water that is not needed! great work.

Do the pipes eventually fill with sediment and lose flow?
Do they ever use a filter sleeve for different soil types?

We've done some pattern tiling as well. We are strictly a no till operation. Would like to know what the best way to smooth up the tile lines after the job is done. Thanks, great video, and love watching your videos!

Why don't you just continue that pipe all the way down here to Texas. We could use that "extra" water.

This is probably the best invention when it comes to drainage.
I dug the drainage ditches by hand and we put in terracotta tubes.

Zach, I just watched your interview on "fake news CBS" about your farming environment and how you re-aligned the interviewer when she tried to take you down the "anti-Trump trail". I especially liked your answer to her (again) trying to take you down the anti-Trump path on many things, including tariffs and regulations. Farmers know their land better than anyone and they hold the land near and dear to their heart. I have farmer family members (4 generations), that has approximately 1000 acres of farm land here in Michigan and they have views that are the same as yours. Let me regulate my own land, I take what mother nature gives me and we'll make the best of it. Thanks, I'll keep watching!

Is the job finished when the plastic pipe is installed every 40 feet, or is the next part of the process to use a 'mole plow' every 6 feet at a shallower depth than the plastic pipe? If so do you have any video of the mole plow? Is that process as accurate as the tile process with GPS and depth control. Thank from England.

It'll take us years to regain their trust once trump is gone. You are a young man do you remember the grain embargo during President Carter years. Trump has no idea what he is doing. By his racist actions there will be fruits, vegetables, meat processing plants with no one to staff them or pick the product. The way to go is to reform the immigration situation not to punish, frighten, persecute, cage children, incite violence and killing due to the asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants skin color and country of origin.
Next time you are in church, pray that you see trump as he really is, not what he tells you he is.

Their conclusion: Trump has Malignant Narcissism compounded with Sociopathic, Paranoid, Sadistic, Greedy, Racist mental, emotional, defects that is a SEVERE DANGER to the U.S. and the World as a whole. That book is non-political and non-partisan.

The bounce you are talking about is called "Optimal moisture content." To explain it simply, if you take a hand full of soil, add water, you can compact it more and more until the soil is saturated, and the water acts like a lubricant, thus the water rises or moves along the near surface water table when to much water is added. Having clay as a sub-base will act as a seal so the water will not seep below the clay strata. As we all know clay particles are shaped like plates, which makes clay so slippery when water gets in between the clay particles. When clay is dry and compacted it is hard as a rock.
I was a civil engineering soils, concrete tech that measured soil compaction, proctor tests, air in concrete, slump tests, air content in concrete etc. If I am wrong in my memory concerning soil saturation I would greatly appreciate any comments, insults, information etc. M
